Chris Bell
Chris Bell originally studied Industrial Design at Manchester College of Art and Design. His fascination with figurative sculpture began at this time and he experimented with various materials and methods.
In 1976 he co-founded the arts and crafts centre, Abbey Green in Chester.
In the 1980’s he co-founded the publishing company, Elisabeth Greetings Cards featuring illustrations by his wife, painter Elisabeth Bell.
Since 2010 Chris has been living in France focusing on his sculpture and has exhibited his work extensively.

2024 Winner of the Prix de la Ville de Chaumont
In 2023 Chris travelled to India and Spain working with black granite and alabaster. During these trips he has created a new collection exploring abstract and natural form in his work.
